• Dinner of tender steaks, green beans, baked potato fresh salads and more, followed by a 3 hour open bar, was appreciated by all.

• All golf participants were given lunch/drink tickets (in their welcome bags) and door prize, a GCC/IBT USA made roll-up-carry stadium blanket.
   
• 50/50 cash and prize tickets purchased by golf participants on and off the course were drawn for prizes and cash winnings.
   
• 50% of ticket sale proceeds were donated in the amount of $6200 for the Macomb/St. Clair County Autism Society

• Barb Steirs and Michelle Dubiel spoke on their personal experiences with their own family's autistic children, and how the organization helps so many other families.
   
• A check for $6200 was presented at the Detroit area September 17 regular membership meeting by Vice President Dan Courtney and President Steve Nobles to chapter representatives Michelle Dubiel and Annette Duda.
