Retiree Luncheons & Outings

Luncheons are held at Hometown Buffet • 1930 Snow Rd., Parma
(Snow at Broadview) at 1:00 PM on the Third Wednesday of each month (except December).

All retirees are welcome. Retiree outings are organized each year. Discussion and decisions on where to go are made at the Retiree Luncheons.

Christmas Luncheon

Each December the Local hosts a Christmas luncheon. Check here for the 2010 location.

Retiree Medical Insurance Coverage

The Local offers 2 Medicare Risk options through Anthem Senior Advantage. This is open to all Local 546M retirees and their spouses and DC 3 retirees in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Both plans offer the same medical benefits (contact the Local for details) but different prescription benefits (see below).

Anthem Plan 1 (Enhanced) offers 3 prescription tiers (Generic, Preferred and Non-Preferred at a monthly premium (per person) of $295.11. Anthem Plan 1 has no plan deductible.

Anthem Plan 2 (Basic) offers 2 prescription tiers (Generic and Preferred). Anthem Plan 2 has a $200 Deductible while Anthem Plan 1 will have No Deductible. The monthly premium for Anthem Plan 2 is $247.92 (per person).

The 2010 premium for Anthem Plan 1 (Enhanced) will be $295.11. The 2010 premium for Anthem Plan 2 (Basic) will increase to $247.92
